Benco is looking for experienced, energetic, reliable Direct Care candidates to work with adult individuals with intellectual and development disabilities in their home and in the community.

Benco is hiring for full time and part time Direct Care positions. Benco considers 30 hour per week full-time.
Current open set schedules:
Tuesday 2:15p-9:15a (overnight) and Saturday 3p-10:30a (overnight) = 38.5 hours per week.
Wednesday-Friday 8a-3p and Saturday and Sunday 9a-5p = 37 hours per week (Lead staff position)
Tuesday-Friday 10a-6p = 32 hours per week.
Sunday-Thursday 1:30p-6:30p= 25 hours per week.
Sunday-Monday 9a-5p = 24 hours per week.
Monday 3p-8p, Tuesday and Thursday 3:15p-7:15p and Saturday 7:30a-2:30p = 20 hours per week.
Thursday-Friday 9a-2p and Saturday 9a-5p = 18 hours per week.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to pass a background check. Valid driver’s license and good driving record is required.
Raises and Wage:
A 3% raise is given at 6 months, 1 year, 1 ½ years and 2 years of employment and annually thereafter until an employee reaches the cap on the wage scale. The Direct Care starting wage is $12.21 hour and the scale goes to $22.71 hour. Starting wage depends on experience in the I/DD field. The applicant will receive a one-step (currently a 3% increase each step) increase on the wage scale for every year verified of I/DD work experience listed on the application.

Benco offers medical, vision and dental benefits to employees who work at least 30 regularly scheduled hours per week. Benco offers vacation benefits at one year of employment as long as the employee works at least 20 regularly scheduled hours per week. Benco offers paid sick time immediately upon hire. Benco also offers a 403b retirement plan if the employee works at least 10 regularly scheduled hours per week.
