Job Overview
AV Tech is responsible for basic installation of audio and video equipment.
The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below.
An Installer will be responsible for the installation of equipment as directed by specifications and drawings. Must be able to perform physical duties such as transporting equipment, pulling and terminating cables, installing wall plates and speakers, displays, etc.Experience and Education:
High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
1+ years of related work experience.
Valid Driver's License
Prior experience working on construction site, data cabling, low voltage cabling, or electrical would be preferred.Requirements:
Working knowledge of audio, video, control, and communications systems is required
Must be willing to travel and stay out of town for up to a week at a time (this is not every week)
Audio, video conferencing, or control equipment manufacturer certifications is a plus (Polycom, AMX, Crestron, NEC, Bi-AMP, etc.)
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background/criminal, MVR.
