What you’ll be doing You will be responsible for performing complex Layer 1 and 2 engineering designs and rearrangements across multiple Telco Savings projects. You will provide technical support by analyzing LBW/HBW circuit engineering data/ routing, identifying new engineering paths as needed and developing/implementing circuit engineering rearrangements. You’ll coordinate all scheduled activities in accordance with operational procedures. You will also forecast, track, and provide reporting updates on a weekly and monthly basis. You’ll be responsible for Order Entry, Design, along with Network and Telco coordination efforts for the purpose of increasing Telco Cost Savings.

Handling Grooms, Disconnects, and Returns.

Conducting savings efforts at all levels of bandwidth: (DS0/DS1/DS3/OCN).

Utilizing Verizon Business systems to track, coordinate, and complete all groom and any related disconnect efforts.

Sending, coordinating, and completing appropriate ASR related activities to Local Exchange Carrier and Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (LEC/CLEC).

Working with the LECs to get these orders scheduled and providing escalations as needed to meet business needs.

Acting as advisor to team members to meet deadlines and resolve complex issues.

What we’re looking for You’ll need to have:

Associate’s degree or two or more years of work experience.

Three or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

A degree.

Experience with creation and submission of ASR’s to Telco.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple other internal organizations.

Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word to track and report job status to upper management.
