SummaryPrimarily responsible for coordinating office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with regulatory and company policies. Provide an environment for providing effective customer service to DNAS clients by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company services and systems as they pertain to DNA testing in animals and humans. Essential FunctionsAnswer telephone calls from potential clients and take accurate messages. Explain how to submit samples (understand the forms and requirements for submission). Log-in samples.Focus customer service on forensic clientele.ÂGenerate FedEx labels and send out kits and prepaid shipping labels to clients.Receive and handle per SOP forensic evidence.ÂProficient with data entry and must type at least 50 words per minute.CompetenciesLike working with people. Good listening skills. Work under pressure and ability to remain calm. Ability to learn company services and information systems quickly. Detail oriented. Communication Proficiency. Ability to work well with others. Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment. Attendance at the office is required. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Physical DemandsThis is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. TravelNo overnight travel is anticipated for this position. Some occasional local day travel may be necessary. Required Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma with a minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience in an office environment.
