Role Summary/PurposeThe Computer Vision Scientist will work
with the Cyber-Physical Systems team at the Energy Innovation Center (EIC) in
Oklahoma City to drive the development of new digital solutions to improve the
efficiency, safety and sustainability of the energy industry. The Computer
Vision Scientist will leverage cutting edge computer vision techniques to
prototype new solutions for automation of inspection and operations, support
the team in deploying these solutions in field pilots, and rapidly iterate to
bring new solutions to the market.Essential ResponsibilitiesIn the role of the Computer Vision
Scientist, you will:
Collaboratewith an interdisciplinary team to design, develop and refine disruptivecyber-physical systems for the energy industry
Leveragecomputer vision expertise to invent and implement algorithms fordetection, classification, and segmentation of images and video to solveenergy industry problems
Employsoftware libraries, tools and practices to implement efficient andscalable solutions
Optimizecomputer vision algorithms for deployment on embedded/edge computingdevices
Staycurrent with industry trends and identify technical innovations that canbe leveraged to advance projects
Beresponsible for other duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor'sDegree in a “STEM” major (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)from an accredited college or university
Desired Characteristics
Minimum1 year of experience working with computer vision algorithms and deeplearning techniques
Proficiencyin one or more of the following: Python, C/C , C#, or JavaScript
GPUprogramming experience (CUDA/OpenCL)
Proficientwith OpenCV
Experienceworking with Nvidia GPU edge devices, such as the Jetson Nano and TX2
Experienceusing deep learning frameworks to train computer vision models
Experienceusing depth cameras, LiDAR, and IMUs
Knowledgeof pose tracking algorithms and pose estimation is a plus
Provenorganizational skills and detail oriented
Experienceworking both independently and as part of a team within a cross-functionalenvironment
Strongtroubleshooting and problem-solving skills
