The Hyatt Shared Service Center (HSSC) provides accounting support for over 150 Hyatt Hotels in North America and South America. Some of the accounting functions are: billing customer service, accounts receivable, accounts payable, sales and use tax, payroll, and treasury. However, the functions the Hyatt Shared Service Center supports continues to grow.Hyatt colleagues enjoy the following benefits: health and welfare programs, Hyatt Retirement Savings Plan, education assistance, discount rate rooms, advancement opportunities, community involvement, and a colleague stock purchasing program.The purpose of this role is to support the Hyatt’s Shared Service Center’s RPO GL and AP with special projects and quality controls for reconciliations. This will be a temporary position lasting approximately 14 months. Essential Functions

Review reconciliations quality from our BPO provider to ensure they are being done completely and accurately.

Partner with FSSC leadership to identify and execute proper financial controls.

Assist with communication to the HSSC customer base (BPO, Hotel Operations, and Hotel Accounting) to continually drive change and user adoption of tools and processes associated with the shared services model.

Champion the continuous improvement of all financial processes.

Provide support for other continuous improvement efforts.

Provide timely and insightful analysis to FSSC management that drives improved decision-making.

Provide training as needed to BPO team to improve quality of financials for hotels.

Work well with others at a variety of levels within the organization.

Regular attendance is expected based on schedule and business needs.

8 years’ Experience with a shared services/centralized services platform

5 years’ experience in a hotel finance leadership role

Experience working with and advising senior management on financial and business strategy

Working knowledge of general accounting and internal controls

Ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize and manage a diverse spectrum of stakeholder expectations

Working experience with the following systems

o Oracle EBS

o Blackline

o Microsoft Office Suite
