We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Operations Engineer that will provide technical expertise for all aspects of a global legacy on premises virtual infrastructure environment and a growing public cloud environment. If you are selected as the Senior Cloud Operations Engineer, you will be a contributing member of the Cloud Operations support team.This position can be based in Bartlesville, OK or Houston, TX.Your responsibilities may include:

Provide expertise and functional support in public cloud environments including but not limited to AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud

Work with cloud advancement and application teams to provide stable, supportable and cost effective cloud solutions that address company business needs

Maintain and troubleshoot on premises and public cloud environments as necessary to insure stability and performance

Provide key technical data including but not limited to: capacity planning, implementation, configuration, and usage reporting

Work with cloud governance and dev/ops teams to ensure reliable and supportable cloud operations

Monitoring log files, performance issues, and the production environment for mission critical systems

Participate in an on-call rotation for mission critical Cloud and Hybrid Cloud outages

Develop and promote standard operating procedures

Engaging in continuous learning to stay abreast on new and emerging technologies that relate to on premises virtual infrastructure and public cloud environment

Ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines

#LIMRQualifications:Basic/Required:

Legally authorized to work in the United States

Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Admin/Mgmt., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, other related technical discipline or foreign equivalent

7 years of experience with IT infrastructure systems

Basic diagnostics, troubleshooting, and analytical skills

Basic knowledge of network theory, design and architecture

Basic knowledge of storage technologies, design and architecture

Basic knowledge of hypervisor systems and architecture

Advanced knowledge of AWS operations, design and architecture

Preferred:

Demonstrated experience with scripting with Python and/or PowerShell

Ability to work effectively across time zones and geography

Knowledge and experience with VMware, Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud

Knowledge and experience with storage technologies and features including SAN, NAS, NFS, de-duplication, and block level replication

Knowledge and experience with networking and firewall technologies

The ability to effectively mentor and lead others on how to complete a task or activity

Ability to work effectively and contribute as a team member

Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments by courageously dealing with important problems, holding others accountable, and standing up for what is right

Delivers results through realistic planning to accomplish goals

Builds effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions that are safe and ethical
