Bartz Viviano Flowers & Gifts is looking for someone to join our design team. Must have floral design experience.
DESCRIPTION
Our designers are the heart of our creativity. We look for individuals that have considerable talent and originality in working with fresh flowers. We are looking for someone with strong design skills who is driven, curious, excited, and creative. To be successful in this position, the candidate should be comfortable working both independently and in a group. They should be adaptable to our team-oriented environment, where creative and innovative thinking are highly valued. Prefer a designer with experience but would be willing to train the right candidate.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
OPERATIONS
- Create floral designs incorporating an innovative use of colors, floral and accent materials, and vessels, while meeting established criteria for Bartz Viviano Flowers & Gifts Inc.
- Maintains confidential customer information.
- Create designs that inspire repeat business from the customer.
- Monitor orders and confirms details on a constant basis to ensure orders are processed correctly.
- Possible client contact and sales responsibility.
- Supports and assists team members on an as needed basis.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Customer service mentality; is sociable and friendly and has a genuine desire to help the client.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Ability to work with computers.
- Self-starter who is energetic and flexible.
- Detail oriented with organizational skills.
- Maintain a calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations.
- Prioritizes responsibilities to achieve results.
- Forms working relationships within a team.
- Identifies additional tasks to be completed and willingly assists others.
- An eye for creativity and design.
