1-800-HANSONS, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our Toledo and Ann Arbor branch locations. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for making sure that the warehouse is organized and clean, maintains inventory of all tools and products and ensures that they are available as needed for installations and services, and helps load/unload trucks. This person will travel between our two locations (mileage will be reimbursed).
Essential Duties:
1. Take inventory of products and tools in the warehouse for our installation projects and services
2. Unload delivery trucks and maintain inventory in organized bins
3. Clean the warehouse – sweeping, organizing
4. Maintain and refurbish product samples for Sales Representative to obtain
5. Repair screens
6. Organize products for easy access and pick up by install crews
7. Do light maintenance around the Branch location
8. Local travel to home improvement stores to pick up tools and/or supplies
9. Assist install crews with loading and unloading products for jobs
10. Provide excellent customer service to the installers, service techs, measure techs and staff
11. Maintain required documentation as necessary (shipping orders, bill of materials, etc.)
Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
1. Valid driver’s license
2. Fast learner and quick problem solving skills
3. Basic math skills
4. Excellent communication skills
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
1. High School diploma or GED
2. Professional experience working in a warehouse for a home improvement company
Physical Requirements:
1. Must be able to remain standing 100% of the time
2. Requires the ability to drive a company vehicle when needed
3. Must be able to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds
4. Must be able to communicate effectively with staff, customers, vendors, and the public
Hours/Schedule:
Part time; shared between Ann Arbor and Toledo locations.
