Bay Mechanical and Electrical Corporation (BMEC) has a position available for an experienced full-time field service HVAC technician. BMEC combines professional engineering talent with hands-on technical expertise to provide cost-effective solutions for the design, maintenance, and long-range operation of mechanical systems. BMEC offers our clients long-term solutions to all their HVAC and Electrical needs.
As a Service Technician, you will provide maintenance, install, start-ups and troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair various commercial/industrial heating and cooling systems. You will also meet with customers, evaluate their needs and make recommendations.
Teamwork is a priority and technicians must be willing to work with and assist co-workers as needed.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the service and repair of rooftop units and on all types of commercial HVAC equipment
A high school diploma or GED
CFC certification or HVAC related journeyman license (or documented equivalent industrial/commercial experience)
EPA Universal license
Clean and insurable driving record
Clean background (no felonies)
Personal tools including basic hand tools
Punctual and organized
Represents self and company positively in appearance and manors
Follows Safety requirements
Works for a quality finished product
Works with others or independently
Can read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
Comfortable working with voltages up to 480 volt/3 phase
