IT Information Security Analyst

Primary Purpose: Under general direction of the IT Information Security Manager, the IT Information Security Analyst will set up, configure, and provide operational support of security and monitoring systems. Develops and maintains all procedures and documentation as they relate to security and compliance, especially PCI DSS and PII. Monitor issues in order to provide root cause analysis and outage trends. Understand, develop, and enforce security principals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conducting security assessments through vulnerability testing and risk analysis.
  • Continuously updating the company's incident response plan.
  • Lead the company's annual PCI DSS audit.
  • Verifying the security of third-party vendors and collaborating with them to meet security requirements.
  • Provide the first line of operational support and triage for issues related to security and monitoring.
  • Work with IT applications, operations teams and lines of business to ensure processes, procedures, and applications meet the requirements for security and compliance.
  • Provide technical support for IT security solutions, including on call hours support when required.
  • Identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve the security posture with process, training, and tools.
  • Analyze and report on threats that could impact the integrity of Leaf Home Solutions systems.
  • All other duties as assigned or required.

Minimum Skills and Competencies:
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, business administration, or related technical discipline.
  • Broad experience in multiple technologies as they relate to security and monitoring technologies and processes
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures supporting multiple branch office/retail locations.
  • 3+ years experience in Network, Infrastructure, or Security administration.
  • 3+ years' experience in project engineering, integrating and implementing infrastructure technologies & services, and related technologies.
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft technologies including Windows OS and Windows networking
  • Demonstrated skills in developing a technology plan including technical approach as well as the related business case for the use of that technology.
  • knowledge and practical experience with Agile and DevOps processes.
  • Knowledgeable in security best practices including IAM, encryption, OpenSSL, SSL certificates, system hardening, etc.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to build consensus.
  • Ability to explain complex technical detail and tradeoffs to non-technical associates.
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements: Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
