The focus for the PCA II may be preoperative, postoperative, operating room, and/or postanesthesia care unit. The PCA II is a member of the perioperative team and renders care in accordance with AORN, ASPAN, CMC, and OBN. The PCA II performs nursing tasks under the supervision of a licensed nurse/physician. The roles for the CSII with a patient care focus may include anesthesia and secretarial support. Any budgeted position may be required to take call in accordance with the departmental policy
