This position will require an individual to be able to design and debug specialty machines. The majority of the design work will focus on robotic systems and their peripheral equipment. Design tasks will include overall machine design, assembly details, pneumatic schematics, hydraulic schematics, and generating BOM’s. In addition, the position will require the engineer to provide support to machinists and assemblers during the build phase of the project.Job Requirements: Four year Engineering degree preferred minimum Associate, experience with automation and robotics in a manufacturing environment, and minimum of 2-3 years equivalent experience. Understanding of pneumatics systems, prior experience in 3D CAD Design and experience in designing with SolidEdge. Ability to use gauges and design equipment effectively. Experience with design and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems, and Project Management experience Valid driver’s licenses The ideal candidate will be organized, flexible to the needs of the customer, be able to travel throughout North America, and have excellent communication skills.
