The Controller is responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. This position addresses a multitude of accounting activities including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger preparation, financials, payroll, all taxes and banking functions. This position also handles all personnel functions, including choosing and overseeing employee benefit plans to maintain a cost-effective benefit package.
Qualifications: Bachelor or Associates degree in accounting or business administration. 5+ years of accounting experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Computer literate
Operating with minimal supervision
Experience in customer and vendor relations
Experience with Sage (Peachtree) accounting programs a big plus
Notary a plus
