If you would like to work in a dynamic environment and possess the motivation to incorporate new ideas into practice, this may be your opportunity.Responsibilitieso Meet business metrics goals as defined for each cell (Cost, Quality, Delivery, Environmental Health and Safety, ACE, Employee Fulfillment)o Develop and Implement root cause corrective actions in a timely manner to ensure quality standards are maintained Implement ACE and Lean Strategies to improve Quality, reduce process time and reduce operational costs Ensure that all employees adhere to Environmental, Health and Safety procedureso You will ensure that all assigned employees have current development plans and performance reviewso Coach employees in team development and motivational strategieso Demonstrates commitment to the EH&S program by complying with all policies and procedures, completing all required training, and supporting all applicable committee activitieso Mange all aspects of assigned hourly workforce: time & attendance, time off, rewards, discipline process, training, communications, etc.o Develop and execute the schedules/plans including contingency planso Define and Implement plans to support the objectives of the business including Quality, ACE, Employee Fulfillment, and Financial Metricso Administer Pratt and Whitney’s policies and procedures to ensure compliance and equitable treatment for all employeeso Ensure all assigned personnel adhere to all applicable Environmental, Health and Safety procedureso Conduct performance and skill review processes for assigned employeeso Identify and resolve process improvement opportunities to enhance quality, decrease process cycle time and reduce operational costso Leverage manufacturing innovations to improve cost, delivery, and quality of aerospace air foilsBasic Qualificationso This role require a Bachelor’s degreeo A minimum of 5+ years’ Supervisory experience in operationso U.S. Citizenship required due to government contractsPreferred qualifications:o Experience in management to include manufacturing operations, with a focus on metal forming, engine technology and/or automotive, with aerospace preferred. Proven ability to interface across organizations for a common goal.o Proficient PC Skills, including word processing, spreadsheet and graphics software preferred.
