Position requirements are:
Must have a desire to develop interpersonal and technical skills
Must be able to follow verbal and written directions with minimal supervision
Should possess some basic knowledge of computer/server operations and iOS device management
Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve end user and system-related issues to ensure continuity of office operations
Provide technical support via remote access, phone/Skype, and email.
Support includes software installation, setup and configuration, tutorials, and multi-tier troubleshooting
Provide troubleshooting support for staff.
Perform routine maintenance of file server (updates, backups, log review)
Provide end user training on use of hardware and applications
Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and carry to other locations.
Successful Applicants Will Have:
1-3 Years of IT support experience in a business environment
Experience deploying and managing network topologies: WAN/LAN, Layer-2 / Layer-3 networking, QOS, Security, VPN, SSL
Experience deploying and managing Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019; AD & GPO Management; Powershell scripting; Linux experience
Experience with VMware deployment and management a plus, but not required
Experience with Microsoft Office technologies (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Familiarity with Backup/Disaster Recovery platforms and best-practices
Self-starter with multi-tasking skills who displays initiative and can work independently. Attention to detail and ability to work effectively via written and verbal instruction.
Hours are Monday thru Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm
