Job Summary:The primary responsibility of the Floor Care Tech/ Housekeeping Attendant is to provide the highest quality of service to guests, maintain all floor surfaces, and complete all cleaning assignments in a timely manner.

Completes daily work assignments as assigned and inspected by the housekeeping manager/supervisor.

Maintain all hard and carpet floor surfaces, following a cleaning cycle.

Maintain all equipment used for floor care duties.

Follows proper cleaning instructions as set forth by Marriott and Health and Wellness Center standards.

Complies with safety and chemical hazard policies within the department of housekeeping and safety training standards.

Completes any cleaning assignments within the Health and Wellness Center as assigned by the manager or supervisor, and also provides assistance to the food service operation if requested.

Provides directions or is able to answer questions in a polite and cheerful manner when approached by any guest or employee of the Health and Wellness Center.

Completes mandatory education and training in order to maintain organization and department specific competencies and requirements. Maintains applicable certification/licensure.

Education:

High school graduate or the equivalent preferred.

Certifications:

None required

Complexity of Work:

Ability to work rapidly to meet deadlines. Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors. Ability to work with guests and provide directions and assistance as needed in a polite manner.

Work Experience:

Prior floor care experience required. One year of housekeeping experience required.
