Job Summary:Undergraduate students have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in laboratory techniques, and to explore careers in biomedical research.Responsibilities:
Student may conduct research in the laboratories.
Other duties as assigned.
Education:
Undergraduate and first-year graduate students who are interested in conducting research.
Certifications:
None required.
Complexity of Work:
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Work Experience:
None required.
Students with previous research laboratory experience are often preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Normal physical requirements include good near visual acuity and color acuity.
Personal Protective Equipment:
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
