Contract Source is a commercial furniture dealer who specializes in servicing the college and university marketplace, career centers, public libraries, healthcare and other commercial businesses. We are seeking a self-motivated individual to help continue our growing organization.

POSITION SUMMARY

Our company is seeking an experienced Accounting Coordinator to assist in managing basic office routines and accounting responsibilities. This is a part-time, position (20-25 hours per week), reporting directly to the Operations Manager and Owner. The ideal candidate must be organized, reliable, trustworthy, must possess strong accounting and communication skills. The position requires multi-tasking. Send Resume and Salary Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES

Utilize the software, QuickBooks, on a day to day basis Actively manage cash flow (accounts receivable and accounts payable) Track and report bank account balances Coordinate bank deposits Monitor project and office expenses, tally and enter cash receipts Collaborate with an external CPA firm in the preparation of sales taxÂManage office supplies Performing administrative work such as typing, filing, sorting, and distributing mail; assisting with the preparation of correspondence to clients Monitor and manage the companys credit score Work with vendors and suppliers with credit and discounts Manage and assist with company forms Communicate with customers on overdue invoices Telephone ResponsibilitySKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Associates or Bachelors Degree “ in Accounting or related field a plus 5 years of experience working in accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and payroll Basic working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and QuickBooks Experience in services related to payroll such as writing checks and submitting payroll taxes Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations Must exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills Must be organize, reliable, resourceful, and an independent thinker
