We're looking for a developer who can create data and integration services that enable our ordering and inventory management solutions across thousands of store locations. The Site Reliability Engineer is responsible for ensuring operations for infrastructure and application solutions are reliable and sustainable by incorporating automation towards installation and configuration of entire technology stack as well as the deployment of code throughout the development life cycle. The engineer will be responsible for all aspects of environment planning including: capacity management, monitoring, scalability, auditing, disaster recovery, and interoperability. The role is responsible for assisting with design and implementation of new technologies to replace legacy systems and processes. Cloud experience (Azure preferred) is required for this role. Primary focus will be planning and implementation of moving on premise stacks to the cloud. Looking for experience with automation, git/source control, CI/CD, etc. Experience in support and/or engineering for the specific technical discipline: security, database, network, collaboration, desktop, storage, backup / recovery, mainframe platforms, UNIX platforms, AS/400 platforms, Windows platforms, web engineering, Citrix, directory services, and integration (EAI, batch and real time solutions) Software product configuration management (SCM) Coordination with release manager on release planning Continuous Integration (CI) Continuous Delivery (CD) Continuous Testing Continuous Logging, Monitoring, Alerting & Feedback Continuous Improvement Key Responsibilities Define and create operational procedures, processes, and scripts. Follow appropriate change/release management practices. Assist in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new technologies with infrastructure teams to ensure adherence to architecture guidelines for new technology introduction. Design, manage, and govern capacity across all technical stacks of the application or system including cloud environments Configure and monitor cloud infrastructure and services as it pertains to the application's hardware and business processes Partner with Corporate Information Security to ensure all security policies and audit inquiries are addressed Tachyon's full-time employees receive complete and competitive benefits.
