Edgewood is a Cincinnati-based, late-seed-stage startup founded by two veteran, domain experts from the Consumer Packaged Goods industry and a veteran Clojurist. We are building a SaaS platform that will shake up the manufacturing industry.
The Problem We're Solving
The demands on manufacturing supply chains for agility, speed, and accuracy are rapidly increasing. At odds with these demands is a dysfunctional network across which trillions of unnecessary information transactions clutter and veil operational truth, thus requiring employees to spend almost as much time searching for and validating information as they do acting upon it. Coalesce is a B2B, web-based, unified platform that enables all supply chain participants to capitalize on the value of accurate, real-time, operational information. We are stewards of data quality focused on business process automation, transparency, and redefining the enterprise data model. Coalesce will eliminate unnecessary information transactions and allow companies to change the way they create, access and consume their data. This change will dramatically improve productivity, decision making, and speed to market.

Looking to Hire
Local (Cincinnati) senior functional programming engineer who thrives in startup environments and loves to code in Clojure! But we know that can be an hard combination to find so we encourage interested junior developers to apply too! Will consider remote but local is preferred.
Requirements
- Proficient in Clojure, ClojureScript
- Experience working on "full stack" architectures (web servers, databases, SPAs, APIs)
- Git / DVCS experience
- Self-directed, able to work autonomously
Not Required but a Plus
- Datomic experience or even familiarity
- AWS experience
Responsibilities
- Work at all levels of clj / cljs / datomic tech stack
- Work with business side to understand and model domain
