DIETARY AIDELocation: WILLISTON, NORTH DAKOTA, UNITED STATESNew Requisition #: 2019-R0262046Job Summary / PurposeThe Dietary Aide will prepare and serve food within CHI St.
Alexius Health Williston Medical Center’s Sacred Grounds Café. They are also
responsible for daily operations and overall appearance of the coffee bar and
related areas. They will deliver dishes
and ensure adequate sanitary conditions within the cooking and dining
areas. The Dietary Aide must be capable
of preparing food following instructions while adhering to all safety and
health standards. They must be competent and conscientious with a
customer-oriented approach.Essential Key Job Responsibilities1. Prepareitems needed for meals. Be familiar with modified diets. 2. Abilityto use related equipment (I.e. cappuccino, coffee grinder, coffee brewers,blender and convection oven). 3. Makescoffee, juice and smoothies; replenishes and cleans beverage-dispensingmachines and areas. 4. Visitpatients to obtain meal preferences, and accurately document preferences. 5. Deliverpatient meals, collect trays, record intakes of patients. 6. Hotand cold food production for retail sales. 7. Slicedfruit, vegetables, desserts, meats for retail production and sales. 8. Setsup for café sales- stock food and paper products. 9. Placessilverware all in one direction for customers. 10. Knowledgeable and practices food safety codesand governing standards; federal, state, local and accreditation agencies. 11. Checks food temperatures frequently throughoutshift. Documents temperatures on applicable forms. Notifies Supervisorimmediately of any food out of compliance. 12. Assist in food preparation, dishwashing, cleaningand tray line functions, responsible for opening and closing duties. 13. Monitors temperature of freezers, refrigeration, andheating units throughout shift. Documents temperatures on appropriate forms.Notifies Supervisor immediately of any food out of compliance. 14. Requisitions, transports and replenishes foods andsupplies to replenish the inventory in the café.
