As a Loader you will be responsible for in ensuring that finished product is correctly, safely loaded into bulk flour trailers, bulk PD railcars, and feed trailers so that finished products can be delivered on time to our customer. The Loader must perform in a busy environment with constantly moving machinery, and act according to written procedures, policy, and regulations.

This position is a 12 hr shift position that rotates each month with two days on and two days off.

Above all you will be expected to carry out all your activities with reliability, integrity, compliance and in a safe, environmentally responsible, and efficient manner.

Your responsibilities:

Understand and operate all aspects of the bulk flour and feed load out systems.

Spot, seal and load bulk flour trailers and rail cars. Check and document tailings.

Hook up and unhook transfer hoses; verify proper valve position.

Manage railroading; prepare rail car seals.

Dry clean railcars if needed.

Walk down load out system, checking equipment operation and condition.

Understand all computer operations.

Become certified in lab to run quality control samples.

Learn and understand all food safety regulations and procedures.

Essential skills and experience:

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Proficient in computer tools including email and spreadsheets.

Proficient in English both written and verbally.

Physical requirements and working conditions (with or without reasonable accommodation):

Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Able to work in a dusty environment and wear respiratory protection.

Other considerations:

Must be willing to accept accountability and work well in a team.

Must be willing and able to work additional hours which may include overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Must be willing to get cross-trained in at least one other position for development within the facility and to provide any relief duties as needed.
