Command Center, Inc. in Grand Forks is hiring Qualified Millers for a local company! Pay ranges between $17.00 and $19.00 per hour. This is a temp-to-hire position. The schedule is first shift.
Overall Responsibilities::
Perform milling operations in the assigned milling department.
Position Alternate Tasks:
Must take on the roles of the supervisor or other millers in the event of absences.
Must be able to fill in for production employees as necessary to maintain smooth operations.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure that plant operation are compliant with food safety regulations (domestic and global, ex. AIB, BRC, GFSI, etc.)
Must adhere to company procedures and policies.
Production Operations:
Follow the orders of management and supervisor to mill products according to the production schedule and to attain the most profitable product yields.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Must communicate milling issues or concerns to the supervisor in charge.
Work with management and the maintenance department to sustain integrity and function of processing equipment and components.
Perform processing control checks according to procedures and specification requirements.
Perform preoperative/post sanitation inspections to ensure that equipment is intact, and is free from build-up or other contaminants.
Must verify the function of processing equipment according to the food safety program.
Maintain sufficient documentation in support of the food safety program.
Requirements:
Have the ability to lift 100+lbs
Knowledge of milling operations
Ability to communicate with coworkers
Work as a team player
