Perform tasks involving physical labor at highway and heavy construction projects. May operate a variety of hand and power tools and assist other craft workers.

General Requirements: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Know and comply with the companys safety rules, policies and OSHA regulations including injury/incident/near miss reporting procedures. Bring problems to attention of Foreman, Supervisor, Superintendent, Safety Director, or Human Resource Manager.

2. Model safe work practices including wearing personal protective equipment, safety belts and safe operating procedures. Firmly enforce all safety policies and take corrective action as needed.

3. Operate rebar cutter safely to specifications of supervisor.

4. Operate the table saw for all crews & clean the equipment. Measure and mark properly for all cutting.

5. Work with Foreman to seal stamped patios to customer satisfaction.

6. Maintain rebar and wood inventory and equipment in an organized manner.

7. Assist Foreman on concrete paves doing clean up and other tasks such as traffic control as required by Construction Superintendent.

8. Install proper erosion control devices.

9. Install signs and decals as required.

10. Relate to the public and to customers, engineers, architects and other visitors in a professional, courteous and respectful manner, appropriately responding to their complaints, requests or comments.

11. Work on striving for BEST practices and continually look for areas of improvement.

12. All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
