Volt is now hiring for Overnight Machine Operators in Fargo, NDJob Title: Machine Operators, Router Operator, and Mold SettersShift/Days: Monday through ThursdayEvening: 6:30pm to 5amDuration: 90 days temp to permPay: $14 to $20/hr DOEQualifications: Qualifications:Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment is preferredBasic fabrication background a plusCompetent at basic dimensional measuring and math; as well as the ability to quickly learn the use of precision measurement toolsBasic ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aids a plusAbility to work with various types of metal forming constraints with guidanceAbility to work independently and with a teamJob Description: Essential Job Functions:Set up and operate fabricating machines, such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, and/or drill pressesLocate and mark bending and cutting lines onto work piecesLoad, install and correctly set up the tools requiredVerifies conformance of work pieces to specifications, using square, ruler and measuring tapePerform assigned work to time standards and quality expectationsSafely operate forklifts and other equipment to handle materials and completed workMake routine decisions and use problem solving to resolve basic manufacturing issues or seek assistanceAssist other operators on other machines as neededReport and document basic material, production and quality control issuesMaintain performance log books on assigned area equipment and report any deficienciesMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with all safety procedures, rules and regulationsAll other duties assignedVolt is an equal opportunity employer
