Full-time/Day/Night/Weekend shifts available
Come join a growing company! Norwood Sales is looking for individuals that are able to program lasers/plasmas. Must have the ability to work well within a team environment to produce quality materials for our production and manufacturing teams. Must possess solid organizational and time management skills, the ability to comprehend specifications provided within orders and translate them to the desired cutting patterns, familiarity with reading and comprehending blue prints/schematics and the understanding of tolerances as described on blue prints.
Hours for 1st shift are 6 a.m. to 4:30 pm, 2nd Shift 4 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
Experience:
Experience with laser programming in prior work experience
Experience with utilizing Sigma nest, Pro nest, and or Solid cam software
Experience with nesting orders for Laser cutting CNC equipment from MRP reports
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Ability to lift 25 lbs.
Ability to work standing full shift in the Laser dept.
Ability to work 10-hour days and some Saturdays.
