Job Details

Performs administration of Linux systems including but not limited to, CentOS and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.Participates in improvement and monitoring of deployment operations on pre-release, upgrades and current versions of software.Participates in evaluating compatibility of programs with existing server hardware and software features.Proactively identifies technical opportunities and enhancements while addressing major incidents in a timely manner. Participates in scheduling and implementation of enhancements, repairs, and upgrades of systems hardware and softwareManages and ensures the integrity of servers, enterprise class storage devices (SAN, NAS), and data transfer.Manages and ensures the integrity, security, and retention of data on various storage devices.

3-5 years' experience in Infrastructure Systems maintenance required3-5 years' experience with CentOS/REHL 5 and above required3-5 years' experience with DHCP, DNS and Patch Management tools required3-5 years' experience with automation required3-5 years' experience with Virtual server configuration in VMware required3-5 years' experience in Linux patch management best practices is requiredBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline is preferredCentOS, RHEL, VMware or HP technical certifications preferred
