Do you want to feel like a valuable member of a productive and efficient team? Window World of the Port City is a locally owned and operated home remodeling company that offers competitive pay, good benefits, and more. What is the position?

We are looking for a new Office Assistant. This would be a full time position, Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM. This person would be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

Taking phone calls and scheduling appointments for our design consultants (salesmen) to meet with homeowners for estimates.

Keeping track of orders and scheduling appointments for our service technicians to visit with our homeowners for repairs.

Talking with people who come in to ask about our products, showing them what we are able to offer and explaining why Window World would be a good fit for them.

Keeping track of and preparing brochures for design consultants for their appointments.

Taking payments from customers over the phone or in person if they come in and then entering that into our bookkeeping system.

Scanning paperwork from completed jobs into our archive server.

MoreRequirements

Must be able to multi-task and manage multiple lines on a phone system at once (i.e. being able to put someone on hold if another line is ringing).

Must have experience with Microsoft Windows, Outlook, and Excel and be familiar with how to operate an internet browser. You'll be looking up property addresses using google often, so it's good to know how to use multiple tabs efficiently.

Quick, accurate typing speed.
