We are a well-established home maintenance, repair and remodeling company in need of a Carpenter technician who also has other handyman skills. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with our company. Someone who has a solid work ethic and enjoys a job well done with no cut corners.
Requirements: Ability to manage yourself when it comes to planning a job out effectively, utilizing helpers in a productive way, and making time without sacrificing quality (excluding those situations that making time just isnt possible). Experience repairing and renovating residential homes. Includes existing plumbing and electrical repairs, carpentry, tile, drywall, painting, etc (an area of expertise in at least two of the previously mentioned areas of construction is required). Must be able to use and care for a variety of tools. Must be free of fear of ladders. Must be able to read and follow detailed contracts with the customers, comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Must possess and maintain a valid North Carolina drivers license.
Benefits: We offer fuel reimbursement for travel in between jobs (until we provide you with a company vehicle). We will provide "big tools" to get the job done. After a 90 day probationary period we have a health care compensation benefit and 7 paid holidays. After 1 year we offer 1 week paid vacation. After 2 years we offer 2 weeks paid vacation. We also provide retirement options.
