We are recruiting for a resource to support our client's assistive technology environment, which includes JAWS, Screen Readers, NVDA, Voice-Over, Zoom text and Duxbury. Must provide client side and application support for both Apple and Microsoft devices, while working with server and application administration processes.

The ideal candidate must be an independent thinker. Support knowledge of Windows 10, macOS Jaguar and above, and iOS 10 and above. The use and support of Microsoft Office 365 Software Suite applications is needed.

Must be familiar with Accessibility options for both iOS, OSX, and Microsoft Windows 10.

Activities include:

Implement, and document all Assistive Technology configuration changes, for employees with disabilities (e.g., speech output, voice recognition, telecommunication devices for the deaf, screen magnification, Braille translation, and scanning software) on the network.

Participate with various teams in the configuration control of monthly changes, new operating system processes, and operating system migration to the client/server configuration of supported Assistive Technology.

Expedite deployment of Assistive Technology by following up with team members on progress of configuration changes.

Maintain current and historical records of Assistive Technology configuration changes.

Install software and test applications for accessibility.

Install, test, and configure Windows 10 workstations with Assistive Technology device software and hardware.

Troubleshoot Level 3 Windows 10 compatibility problems.

Review and understand build documents and make recommendations for modifications.

Research and test new products and software packages that could significantly impact AT device environments.

Communicate and attend meetings with faculty and staff.

Develop and document solutions for preventive maintenance.

Analyze and document special configuration and Assistive Technology software environment.

Coordinate support with other teams for support of special hardware and software platforms.

Experience implementing: -

Troubleshooting and supporting Windows and OSX

Server 2012 Active Directory

Laptop hardware and software

Cisco Hardware

Troubleshooting network problems

Printer troubleshooting
