Senior Applications Support Analyst

We are currently seeking an Applications Support Analyst. This person will serve as the point of contact for all incoming application requests/incidents/problems within the scope of the department. You will be responsible for providing application support to business users while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Monitor application performance to proactively identify issues and perform root cause analysis to identify trends, errors, and solutions to help improve application functionality. Must have ability to train and mentor junior level Application Support Analysts. This person will be serving as the escalation point for junior level application support analysts. - Must show good technical judgment, analytical and problem-solving skills - Must have strong written and verbal communication skills - Good Negotiation skills - Experience with Windows/Linux Server technologies o Familiarity with relational database concepts and experience in use of SQL - Experience in ticket tracking systems such as HP Service Manager, HEAT, Kace, JIRA, ServiceNow etc. - Must have knowledge of applications from both user functionality and technical implementation/infrastructure - Experience with various application environments such as client/server, thick client vs thin client, SaaS, etc. - Must have the ability to be on call 24/7 based on departmental schedule - Experience with various application environments such as client/server, thick client vs thin client, SaaS, etc Bonus points: -Banking experience No third Parties
