Daytime College Assistant, Mon-Fri, 9AM - 5PM (full-time):
We are looking for a reliable and responsible 24-45 yr old with college experience to be an assistant for a graduate student in a power wheelchair. Duties include driving him to and from campus in his ramp-equipped minivan, accompanying him to classes, assisting him with activities of daily living, and performing some light housekeeping. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who can pick up a routine quickly after training.
You MUST be a non-smoker in good health with a good driving record and your own dependable vehicle. You must be comfortable using Allen wrenches.
This position offers great experience for future nurses, PTs, and OTs, and can extend to long-term employment.
