General Maintenance/Houseman position available - Property and equipment repairs, and preventative maintenance at the hotel. This includes but not limited to: outdoor pool, hot tub, HVAC units, heat/AC throughout hotel, outdoor and indoor lighting, kitchen, and more. Houseman takes care of common areas in a hotel, such as the lobby, restrooms and pool area. As part of the housekeeping staff, a houseman must be detail-oriented, have good customer service skills, be able to lift heavy items and understand cleaning basics.
Effective communication as well as knowledge of building maintenance is required.
The ideal candidate will possess and demonstrate a high level of quality, productivity, teamwork, time management, and have excellent customer service skills that will be utilized when dealing with guests and sub-contractors of the hotel. The position requires a great deal of physical labor.
