Impact Signs and Branding is looking for a Make Ready Technician and a Working Make Ready Technician Lead.
Duties for a make-ready technician may include but not limited to:
Prepare vacant housing for move-in, including removing trash and completing any necessary repairs or replacements
Completes duties according to make ready checklist
Touch-up paint in housing as needed
Repair or replace light bulbs, globes or fixtures
Assists in the repair, replacement or removal or installation of appliances
Repair or replace mini-blinds, ceiling fans or electrical outlets
Assists in Preventative Maintenance Program (changing filters, smoke alarms, check for plumbing issues)
Repair or replace faucets, shower head or tub spouts
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents, guests, and client
Any other reasonable duties assigned by employer
Working Lead Responsibilities include everything for make-ready technician as well as (but not limited to):
Oversee make-ready crews on multiple locations in very large community
Drive between job-site locations and warehouse as needed to ensure all necessary materials are in hand.
Ensure that all work is being performed efficiently, safely, and accurately
Track attendance and hours worked at job site
Sometimes serve as representative at jobs sites and in project-specific meetings
Lead by example through quality workmanship
Operate various tools and equipment (drills, miter saw, lasers, etc.)
Instruct and direct multiple two-man crews and other construction helpers
Orient new contractors to company standards of quality, behavior, ethics
Ensure jobsite etiquette reflects company policy
Job Qualifications/Requirements:
Regular attendance (punctual and dependable required)
General knowledge/experience with heating and air conditioning (NOT required)
Ability to provide own (industry specific) hand tools a plus
A valid drivers license and reliable transportation with current car insurance (required)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize work functions
Knowledge of building maintenance and repairs
Positive, team oriented attitude
Ability to pass a background check (required)
