Responsibilities:
Performs assigned system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems.
Loads system-level controller software.
Perform basic commissioning and system diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices (i.e. sensors, actuators, etc.) and complete all required commissioning documentation.
Calibrate systems requiring basic electronic test equipment.
Document changes and provide information for as-built documentation.
Analyze equipment installation practices and offer solutions to improve the efficacy of installation schedules.
Communicate with the general contractor or customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site.
Qualifications:
Current and valid United States driver's license with a clean driving record.
Two years of field experience, or four or more years of equivalent related field experience in the HVAC industry.
Proven track record of successful completion of projects involving DDC systems commissioning, software integration, calibration or troubleshooting.
Familiarity of the construction industry, especially mechanical and electrical fields.
Ability to produce and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
Willingness to work long hours to complete jobs on schedule and meet standards of quality.
Basic computer proficiency, such as data entry and Microsoft Office programs.
Physical dexterity to climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
Knowledge of safe working practices around moving and electrical equipment.
The ability to obtain and maintain a military base access badge. (This involves a background/character, criminal history, employment check).
Preferred:
Experience working with Legacy Metasys N2 Controllers.
Experience working with Facility Explorer / Metasys BACnet Controllers.
Experience working with Metasys ADX Servers and Network Engines. This includes the upgrading of ADX software and Network Engines.
Experience working with Tridium JACE 8000 / Facility Explorer Supervisory Controllers.
