Job Description
The material handler is supporting the production process by operating various fork lifts and inventory scanning equipment successfully. As a Bosch Associate, you are expected to maintain a positive work environment by following the appropriate safety procedures.
- Operate lift equipment to retrieve components needed to fulfill shop order requirements
- Learn the receiving process such as posting and confirming of shipments
- Use RF gun to make inventory moves
- Unloading and reloading pallets
- Loading and unloading containers
- Printing labels
- Reading and following standard operating procedures
- Maintaining knowledge of high risk items and how to handle them
- Maintaining knowledge of all safety requirements and procedures
- Understanding put-away tickets
- Understanding milk run pick-up points
- Following procedures for replenishment moves
Qualifications
- Ability to stand for 8 hours
- Proper hand dexterity
- Ability to read and follow instructions
- Ability to lift (up to) 40lb. boxes
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school
- If possible certified on lift equipment
- Experience with RF scanner
