DescriptionWe have a client who is looking to fill a Full Charge Bookkeeper role promptly with a candidate who can lead the clerical staff and manage full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, and audit. Our client is seeking a full-time Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their team in the Lenoir, North Carolina area via Robert Half Finance and Accounting. Apply as soon as possible!Responsibilities

Produce cash flow projections, as needed

Execute cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.

Catalog budget transfers

Qualified in credit card management and reconciliation

Formulate monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

Maintain Accounts Payable

Knowledgeable with Accounts Receivable

Arrange sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

Iron out subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

Administer monthly accounting close

Outline business license and gross receipts

Other special projects as requested

Requirements

BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred

Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines

Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity

Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired

Relevant accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must

Strong familiarity with month end closings

Solid understanding of payroll for under 100 employees

Command of general ledger

Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills

Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

Top notch analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills
