General Statement of Job:

The Regional Security Operations Center (RSOC) Supervisor oversees all duties and responsibilities of RSOC Leads and Operators and quality control for superior customer service, production, and output for 24x7x365 operation in conjunction with RSOC management and client expectations. This person assures that all RSOC positions are staffed with qualified personnel to ensure all control protocols are followed. In addition, the RSOC Supervisor in conjunction with client and SIS’s training department will ensure adherence and implementation of RSOC training components including pre-assignment, ongoing, and ancillary training programs. The RSOC Supervisor will oversee all elements of quality control related to program milestones and intended outcomes. The RSOC Supervisor is under the direction of the Operations Manager.

Essential Job Functions:

▪ Responsible for creating a positive, creative, and dynamic team culture that directly contributes to positive customer service

▪ Assist with development and execution of training programs for the Operators in all RSOC functions and conduct training exercises with the Field leaders

▪ Assist the Client’s Security Management with the development and/or revision of security operation center processes, protocols, and systems

▪ Work with applicable Security Contacts to identify process and quality improvements

▪ Assist in quality control and oversight for all production, support, and staffing functions in the RSOC

▪ Assist client in implementation of RSOC policies and procedures

▪ Directly assist in assessing, developing, and maturing the capabilities of the RSOC; this includes the maturation of people, processes, and technology

▪ Coordinate with Security Contact(s) to ensure proper utilization and execution of services

▪ Maintain timely and accurate reporting as required by Security personnel; deliver metrics on performance, output, outcomes, and impact

▪ Develop and implement programs to enhance supervision and operational proficiency

▪ Ensure continuity of operations, coordinate shift pass down information, and conduct or delegate appropriate shift briefings to provide all updates, assignments, training, and uniform compliance

▪ Maintain situational awareness of natural and man-made events that may compromise the safety and security of personnel, business operations, and infrastructure for client locations globally; Identify and route to Corporate Security for resolution of any nuisance or trouble (physical security) alarms

▪ Provide support for operations.

▪ Ensures that CROs follow escalation procedures and appropriately dispatch personnel to all emergencies: medical, fire, hazardous materials, natural disasters, and accidents

▪ Works as a primary operator, actively working alarms, radios, emails, support, and on-call function as needed

▪ Perform other related duties as required

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

▪ High School Diploma or GED

▪ College Degree (BA) or equivalent work experience in an operations center or dispatch capacity

▪ Minimum 2 years experience as a Lead, Supervisor, Manager or equivalent

▪ Minimum 2 years experience in a corporate SOC or similar environment with demonstrated knowledge and experiencing using a variety of security access and alarm monitoring software and/or applications

▪ Have effective time management, communication, technical writing, presentation development, facilitation, and organizational skills

▪ Effectively communication skills

▪ Must have demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills

▪ Must possess professional experience in the areas of people, training, and conflict management

▪ Ability to multitask in a fast paced, at times stressed work environment

▪ Self-motivated, curious, and knowledgeable pertaining to news and current events Complete and maintain state guard certification as prescribed by presiding state law, as well as all client requested certification; all documentation and fees are the responsibility of the employee unless otherwise noted

▪ Must be a dependable team player with business maturity and enthusiasm with the ability to deliver high level of customer service

▪ Have flexibility to work any shifts on any day of the week (Mon-Sun) and willingness to assist the team when needed
