SummaryMarine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community. We offer a team oriented environment comprised of military personnel, civilian employees, contractors and volunteers who keep the organization functioning smoothly and effectively.ResponsibilitiesRequired to screen temperatures (forehead, ear, and/or oral) using digital axillary, tympanic, temporal, and/or infrared no-contact thermometers. Able to maintain privacy of individual, while reading collected data. Must report individuals with temperatures of or over 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit (38 degrees Celsius). Verifies identification, and asks prescribed health screening questions established by proper authority. Completes necessary forms for contact tracing, maintains and reports results. May be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Enforces safety rules/regulations, and safeguards children and staff by screening entry into facility. Maintains maximum security of assigned area by performing temperature checks. Completes designated training requirements within designated time-frame. Completes required background checks and maintains updated checks to include the Child and Youth National Agency Check with Inquiries (CNACI). Ability to demonstrate knowledge of proper procedures for emergencies to care for injured children; implementation of safety and sanitation practices; management of hazards; maintaining child accountability; and reporting child abuse.Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts higher-level supervisor or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulations and standards. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor. Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment.
