Gold Medal International is looking for a Pick & Pack Supervisor for our Greensboro distribution center. Interested candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as Pick & Pack Supervisor. - Minimum 5 years Pick and Pack Supervisor experience.
- Responsible for supervising pick lines and managing a staff of 10-25 people.
- Assist in planning the labor needed on a daily and weekly basis for the department.
- Must be able to Hire and Fire Temp Labor in order to maintain and insure constant productivity.
- Train and work with someone at the end of each pick line to check and verify cartons are packed correctly.
- Move Regular items into Ecom items or Ecom items into Regular items as needed.
- Responsible for setting pick and pack locations.
- Check and Verify Inventory.
- Print Pick and Pack orders and stock sheets.
- Create Bill of Ladings for Pick and Pack Shipments.
- Responsible for routing Pick and Pack Customer orders, verifying that the case counts are correct for each order. Will also insure that the shipments are staged and ready for pick up on the pickup day.
- Route Pick and Pack Customers for pickup and verify counts for bill of ladings.
This is a working Supervisor position so occasionally you will need to assist in picking orders on the pick lines with workers to ensure that our guidelines are being followed.
The job may shift to other parts of the warehouse when the need arises and there is less need in the Pick and Pack department.
Must be able to work OT, also on Saturdays during peak season.
