Registered Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Assistant needed for a growing, AAHA-accredited, full service small animal hospital located in Greensboro, NC. Our practice provides extensive, high quality diagnostics including in-house laboratory testing; ultrasound; laser; digital radiology; and dental x-rays. This position requires the applicant to be self-motivated, hardworking, detail oriented and a team player. You must have the ability to handle the following task efficiently: in and out of patient exam rooms, communicate directly with clients, pet education, good phone skills, estimates, pet restraint, draw blood, catheter placement, perform digital xrays, patient monitoring, read fecal samples, urinalysis, ear cytology, skin cytology, and operate in-house lab equipment. Technical skills and knowledge will be utilized fully.
The hospital is paperless so computer skills are required. Avimark practice software experience is a plus. Full-time or part-time hours will be considered for this position. Hours maybe flexible but individual will be required to work Saturdays on a rotation schedule.
