Sushi Republic is hiring an immediate part-time weekend host/hostess position. We are looking for someone who is reliable and punctual. Must have a friendly personality and strong work ethic. Experience with Japanese food, particularly sushi, is a plus.
The position is for Friday and Saturday dinner shifts.
Monday-Friday
11:00-3:00 Lunch
4:30-10:30 Dinner
Saturday
4:30-11:00 Dinner
Sunday: Closed
Responsibilities include:
1) Greeting and seating customers
2) Managing reservations
3) Answering the phone (as well as taking to-go orders
4) Helping bus tables when busy
5) Maintaining clean menus and front desk
Training is for 1-2 weeks as a server to learn how the restaurant functions. This is a part-time weekend position. If you work well and have the desire, there is also the possibility of some weekday serving shifts.
