Senior Manager – ERP Technical Engineering: Become the Newest Member of the VF Family Sr. Manager, ERP Technical Engineering will be accountable in leading the design, build and implementation of robust SAP/ERP solutions using best practices.This position is responsible to direct the ERP technology teams and create/maintain consistent procedures, metrics, solutioning and development methodologies. High level duties include managing and mentoring internal and external staff, capacity planning, maintaining diverse resource pools, fiscal accountability and running the ERP Technical solutioning and engineering practice.How You Will Make a Difference:

Developing enterprise SAP IS AFS, Retail, S4 Fashion and any ERP designing and development methodologies and standards.

Working with business and IT teams to plan and execute a strategy for a global rollout.

Providing SAP technical leadership and application engineering planning and delivery on large global complex projects.

Support Core Fashion and Retail business process areas - Supply Chain and Logistics Processes, Order to Cash (OTC), Procurement to Pay (P2P) and Account to Reporting (ATR).

Develops action plans and processes, in coordination with management team, for integrating activities and optimizing department resources to meet major goals and objectives.

Establishing or modifying strategy, standards and procedures for SAP integration, configuration, and implementation.

Assisting in the development of SAP/ERP technological roadmaps while keeping up to date with emerging technologies.

Researching new technologies to assist in establishing the architectural vision for IT systems.

Enforces architecture, governance, security, and global process standards to system changes and deployments. Coordinates compliance issue identification and remediation.

Collaborates with other teams on integration needs/design. Contributes to database design and creates critical-path, high-risk, advanced technical designs. Approves proof of concept efforts and reviews results.

Working with the Leadership to create a roadmap for divesting retail legacy systems.

Enforce Enterprise architectural direction and ensure consistent technical approach within ERP domain. Decide on engineering tools based on recommendations.

Allocate system resources based on performance monitoring and tuning results. Manage and enforce performance thresholds and standards. Review and approve performance test results, recommendations, and tuning results.

Oversee and is responsible for the creation of test plans, test execution, and validation of test results.

Utilizing SAP Retail suite and integrating to SAP AFS/FMS/S4.

Develop and execute Data migration architecture and engineering approaches from SAP Legacy systems to new systems.

Analyze, design and develop software using S4 HANA, SAP ABAP, SAP SLT, SAP Central Finance, SAP Web Dynpro, SAP Process Orchestration (PO), SAP Apparel and Footware Solutions (AFS) and SAP Retail solutions.

Providing support during SAP S4 Fashion, AFS and Retail systems builds, upgrades and support packs installation.

Educational/ Position Requirements:

Minimum 12 years of experience in SAP development including identification of solution options, solution design, development and unit testing. Experience with SAP specific technologies, including ABAP development using user exits, enhancement points, Adobe forms, SOA services, IDOCs, SAP transport layer and object-oriented development concepts.

5 years of SAP IS AFS and Retail Engineering/Architecture experience.

Broad understanding of all components (Finance, Inventory, Allocation, Assortment Planning) of an SAP IS AFS, Retail and S4 Fashion solutions.

Understanding SAP Retail suite and its integration to AFS.

Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver platform components, specifically MDM,BI, PI, SCPI, S4, CAR, SLT, and Portal highly desired.

Experience leading Blueprint (Analysis / Design Phase) and Implementation phases across different functional areas.

Experience with full system lifecycle for enterprise application development.

Ability to work effectively across a wide range of functions, teams and levels of management.

Ability to partner with and influence key stakeholders and technologists throughout Nike.

Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Strong organizational skills (multi-tasking) and a self-motivator.

Proven written and verbal communication skills.

Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:

Some travel may be required.
