LOCATION: Wesley Long Hospital, WLCH-ICU StepdownCITY: GreensboroJOB DETAILS: Exempt: No | FTE: 0.9 (36 hours/week) | Schedule: N | On Call: NOJOB SUMMARY: Critical Care nursing clinicians who provide early and rapid intervention to patients outside ICU setting whose condition is deteriorating. Bring critical care expertise to medical –surgical /telemetry floor and assist with assessment, stabilization and transfer to higher level of care as needed at the patient’s bedside. Prevention of cardiopulmonary arrests is major goal. Also serves as member of other emergency care teams including: Code Stroke Team; Code STEMI team, Code Blue team, and Code Sepsis Team.EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors, NursingEXPERIENCE: Required: 5 or more year’s bedside Critical Care RN experienceLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING: REQUIREDRN | Registered Nurse licensed in North Carolina or a Compact state.BLS (CPR) | AHA Health Care Provider BLSACLS | Advanced Cardiovascular Life SupportPREFERREDPALS | Pediatric Advanced Life SupportCertification in Critical Care – preferably CCRNCone Health is an equal opportunity employer.
