LOCATION: Elmsley, AmbSvc-Elmsley Urgent CareCITY: GreensboroJOB DETAILS: Exempt: No | FTE: 0.4 (16 hours/week) | Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 8a-4p | On Call: NOJOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible to maintain regulatory and professional standards and exhibit strong decision-making capabilities. A close working relationship with Radiology leadership, radiologists, and the medical staff is required to maintain a cost-effective and patient-focused service. This position is responsible to provide care for patients undergoing Diagnostic Radiology procedures using the approved workflows and procedural protocols. Technologists in this position are able to demonstrate full knowledge of Diagnostic Radiology equipment. Radiologic Technologists are authorized to handle and administer contrast media in accordance with radiology processes and procedures. Competencies are completed through the Radiology department.EDUCATION: Required: High School Diploma or equivalent; and Graduate of a Radiology, Imaging or related educational programEXPERIENCE: Required: 0-1 year, Healthcare - Diagnostic TechnologistPreferred: 1-2 years, Healthcare - Diagnostic TechnologistLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING: REQUIREDARRT (R) | Radiologic Technologist - DxBLS (CPR) | AHA Health Care Provider BLSMust have above credentials and maintain at all times.Cone Health is an equal opportunity employer.
