Provides leadership in establishing standards, goals, and direction. Facilitates, coordinates, and manages staff, material, and financial resources to achieve patient outcomes/care and to promote professional development/practice of staff. Incorporates the Nursing Department philosophy into leadership and clinical practice. Ensures implementation of departmental and department specific patient care standards and nurse competencies.
