Our Client in Ft. Bragg, NC has two openings for Data Center Engineers to join their team. TS/SCI and 10+ years or equivalent experience required If qualified and interested, please send your resume over to Katie at Clearance Level Required: TS/SCI Minimum Certification: Security+ or equivalent; VMware Certified, and a Storage Certification Data Center Infrastructure Engineer (HPE 3PAR, HP3 Storeone, VMWare) Basic Qualifications: Demonstrated technical proficiency in various data center Storage and Server products. Ability to write technical documentation and briefings. Familiarity with various other Disaster Recovery and service monitoring solutions. Ability to provide knowledge transfer to customer staff for data center architectures.
Key Skills: System Administration/Engineering, SAN Administration/Engineering, Virtualization Administration/Engineering. Ability to implement, configure and maintain Datacenter Infrastructure technologies to include HP 3Par Storage and VMware vSphere 6.5. Certifications: IAT-III baseline cert, VMware Certified Professional (VCP 6) and one valid storage platform cert preferred Dell EMC Expert - Implementation Engineer, or HPE ASE - Storage Solutions Architect, or HPE Master ASE - Storage Solutions ArchitectThe following outlines the Services to be performed by the Data Center Systems Engineer:- Personnel required to hold and maintain an active Top Secret security clearance (DoD security clearance).
- Maintain the mandatory baseline of STIG compliance on all responsible technologies within the architecture.
- Implement all directives as mandated and apply operating system and software patches to the Virtual Infrastructure and SAN architecture.
- Coordinate complex requirements across multiple, parallel data center architectures and ensure replication and interoperability between sites for Disaster Recovery and Continuity of Operations situations.
- Perform system administration on vSphere infrastructure 6.5 and 3Par storage solutions.
- Gather requirements and evaluate new products/solutions as necessary in order to meet the Customer's operational goals and in accordance with DOD Regulations and basic security principles.
- Provide systems engineering expertise to analyze mission system requirements for integration and operation of infrastructure. Plan installation and configuration of tool suite implementations.
- Participate in working groups with other GISA System Personnel.
- Develop and integrate new tools/capabilities and enhance existing tools/capabilities into an operational environment.
