The Logistics Lead will be based in Fayetteville, NC working with the U.S. Army. This Logistics Lead is responsible for overall staff coordination and management for all aspects of training and exercise missions for U.S. Army customer.Required Experience:

Demonstrated experience in planning and executing global military logistics, supply chain management, procurement, and shipping.

Demonstrated experience leading collaboration across enterprise for resource management including development and distribution of SOPs, checklists, best-practice documentation, lessons learned, and SME reach back for logistics.

Demonstrated experience developing and implementing logistics plans, budgets, and procedures that maximize compliance with customer needs within budget constraints.

Demonstrated experience with financial reporting and reconciliation of multi-million-dollar inventories.

Demonstrated record of accomplishment leading performance-based and outcome-based logistics programs and staffs.

Strong leader who ably develops/leads and works with a high performing, mission centric team.Demonstrated record of success in and experience with Special Operations logistics.

Outstanding analytic and problem-solving skills, especially when working in a dynamic environment that consistently interfaces with DOD, military/civilian personnel and industry partners.

Demonstrated expertise in the integration of complex programs and successfully managing disparately located personnel conducting/supporting multiple logistics nodes.

Proven ability to build and maintain constructive relationships among customers, stakeholders, technical teams, and contractors across the customer base.

Possess a high degree of originality, creativity, initiative requiring minimal supervision

Willingness to travel within the organizational geographic Area of Responsibility (AOR) (note - could be extensive, and will include both air and ground transportation)

Demonstrated experience presenting briefing to senior leaders and customer stakeholders.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Lead a dynamic and robust staff and schedule for supporting logistics aligned to command mission requirements.

Be the lead SME all logistics, sustainment and materiel procurement work in support of large, complex program.

Advise the U.S. Army customer on all aspects of lifecycle sustainment, logistics, and materiel procurement integration into a wide array of technical and analytical projects.

Lead and manage process and quality controls for the efficient procurement of ALL materiel, flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement to meet customer requirements.

Lead lifecycle planning, scheduling, and management across a complex technical solutions and services portfolio, as well as the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to the end user.

Lead and support development of material requirements and scheduling requirements from end user specifications and production schedules and plans and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production.

Lead and support development of capability and facility build-out plans and assessments, as required.

Lead the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistic processes, including maintenance, supply, transportation and logistics plans.

Support program formulation, policy planning, coordination, inspection, integrated logistics processes, joint planning logistics, acquisition and wholesale logistics, product support, asset visibility, material management.

Lead performance of life cycle maintenance and integrated product support (IPS).

Coordinate operational assets and personnel to maximize functional training and exercise opportunities.

Coordinate logistics and administrative support for training and exercises.

Coordinate the drafting of exercise after action reports for senior level awareness and sustain an after action database.

Support the management and improvement of all aspects of a large contract to include leadership, technical performance, personnel and financial performance.

Communicate daily with peers within the business unit as well as customers, Site Leads and Senior Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to identify and resolve problems and challenges to ensure sound execution of contracted effort to include successfully resolving issues.

Travel (sometimes frequent) to various program sites as necessary to ensure sound program execution

Identify, develop, and implement efficiencies that enhance productivity and/or reduce overall contract costs to the government.

Lead, guide and mentor less-experienced/lower-positioned team members and employees.

Qualifications:

BA/BS degree and 8-10 years of relevant experience with SOF

Recent experience serving under USASOC / SOCOM or component / combatant command in a logistics billet.

Clearance:

Active TS/SCI Clearance required

Preferred:

US Army Special Forces Experience (former SF Logistics Senior NCO/Officer preferred)

SOF rotational experience

Recent experience serving under USASOC / SOCOM

Must have recent experience within Army SOF / SOCOM in the last 4 years

Experience in within USASOC Staff (G2, G3, etc), TSOCs and subordinate command operations

Desired Certifications

PMP® or equivalent project management certification
