Looking for a Sign installer for our Sign Company based in Raeford, NC. We have serviced our local customers in the NC and SC area for over 30 years, as well as our customers across the United States. We provide our customers with everything they need for their signage from the beginning design to the final install. We pride ourselves with our quality and customer service. Responsibilities:
Install of all types of electrical signage (channel letters, pylons, digital message centers) non-electrical (vinyl, plastic, Flex faces).
Electrical wiring
Drilling/digging footings
Welding for final installation
Understand and read surveys, engineering
Complete jobs and assigned tasks without constant direct supervision
Operate cranes, bucket trucks and other equipment
Travel to and from job sites in our company trucks, some may require being out of town with/without overnight stay
Requirements for this Sign Installer position are:
Must have a clean driving record, and valid NC drivers license, as well Social Security #
Must be able to perform the following: ability to lift and move 75lbs without restrictions, digging, bending, reaching, pushing and pulling etc, and be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must have excellent stamina.
Must be able to deal with heights in excess of 50+ feet at any time, use of ladders, bucket truck, crane, and scaffolding.
Must not have an issue with working outdoors in various conditions such rain, heat, cold, with various noise levels.
Must be able to drive a truck with an attached trailer, be able to use equipment such as a Bobcat and forklift (OSHA Forklift certification will be provided after probationary period).
Must have knowledge of common hand and power tools.
The ideal Sign installer should have solid communication skills, common sense and good problem-solving skills.
Excellent Customer communication skills
You will need to have the ability and basic knowledge to keep your truck stocked and maintained, check oil and other necessary fluids, tires etc., daily.
Preference given to those with sign installation experience. Welding and electrical experience is also a plus.
Welding is used often on installations of pole signs and during some repairs.
Normal work week is Monday - Thursday - 7 am - 5:30pm. Some out of town and over nights may be required, as well as extended hours.

Benefits for the Sign Installer position are available after 90 days.
Uniforms are also available after 90 days, presentable work attire, hygiene required.
Compensation based on experience.
